EDIT: I finally finished it and uploaded it! yay! The edited cactus seriously took FOREVER!!! I had to draw every single pin and every single red dot and on top of that i had to draw the light reflecting off it. I'VE NEVER EVER EVER DONE THAT MUCH DETAIL AND HAVE THAT MUCH PATIENCE!!! don't think i'll ever do anything that complicated again.
But after all that it has been worthwhile XD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mwhahaha... i so wanted to do a naughty piece. I find myself liking the evil dude more and more.

I enjoy this painting very much. It's cute and has a lot of colors. It's definitely a breath of fresh air in the emo-ness known as DA.
Anyway, composition wise, I see you're playing around with false perspectives.
One thing that I notices right off the bat is the false perspective of the tree. Now, based on how the trunk is rooted in the picture and how it protrudes away from the main picture, I believe that it should be covering the boy's head.
However, if it's not the case, then the rest of the top of the tree should be erased to put it in line with the square slab the dolls are standing on.
And if it's still not the case, then I would suggest you bring the roots of the tree slightly higher. Preferably, it should be above where the boy is standing.
Another method to highlight the false perspective a bit further is to address the shadows left behind from the doll and the character's arms. If you would like, match it with the light source on the slab (ie, the sun).
wow thank you! i can completely see where you're coming from on the tree. I'm kicking myself on how i didn't notice it before, i'll fix it up soon. thank you again!
